Football unfortunately didn't come home this summer so everyone's attention now quickly turns to the new Premier League season. This means that every group of football friends (Don't forget the thumbs up) will be setting up their Fantasy football leagues and selecting their sides and here at Ballers Blog we are no different. I've used my £100 million to select the side I believe will launch me to Fantasy Football success. Here's the 2018/19 Ballers Blog XI:
Goalkeeper
Over the summer West Ham have been acquiring some great additions to their squad to try and reach the heights they did in the 2015/16 season. One of their best pieces of business was Lukasz Fabianski from Swansea who was undoubtedly one of their best players last season and has been in great form for the past few seasons. West Ham struggled last season and their keeper was one of their weaknesses with Joe Hart eventually being dropped for Adrian and consequently left out of Southgate's England squad. Hopefully for the Irons and my team Fabianski can be solid between the sticks and keep some clean sheets.

Defenders
I've gone for a three at the back with two of England's stars from the summer in there. Firstly we have the man that let England fans dream for 64 minutes after his absolute banger of a free kick in the 4th minute. This is of course Keiran Trippier who I have included as I think with his set pieces will contribute quite a few assists to his side and get me some tasty points for my team. This is a big season for Trippier as he needs to attempt to carry his World Cup form into the season for Spurs and establish himself as one of the worlds best fullbacks. In the middle we have the Slabhead himself, the national treasure that is big Harry Maguire. He was a rock at the back for England and has been on a big rise over the last few seasons showing his quality throughout. There is a lot of speculation around his future with lots of interest from Manchester United but he seems content at Leicester for the moment. Our last defender is a Scotsman that was teammates with Maguire at Hull and fitted effectively into Klopp's high tempo pressuring Liverpool side. Andrew Robertson made himself a fan favourite with the Kop last year with his exciting attacking play down the left flank with one of his most memorable moments being in the Manchester City game last season when he seemed to press every single City player on the field igniting Anfield into a frenzy. On a number of occasions Robbo looked like scoring last season but was unfortunate with a number of efforts but I believe he will be able to bag a few for Ballers Blog XI.

Midfielders
In midfield we have captain fantastic Mo Salah who is looking to prove the doubters wrong and not be a 'one season wonder' like many (Manchester United) fans think he will be. I believe that he will be successful once again this season but not to the same extent as last year but will score over 20 goals. In the middle of the park we have Jack Wilshere who was unlucky to not go to Russia in summer and was maybe what England needed in the Croatia game. I reckon Arsenal will regret letting him go as if he can go injury free then he can be one of the best midfielders in the league and show what he can do on a consistent level. Our two other Midfielders are both wide men who were a key part of their sides last season. They are Leroy Sane and Heung Min Son who both contributed goals and assists to their sides last year and I have no doubt they will replicate that this season. I think Sane in particular will have a good season as he has a point to prove after not making the German World Cup squad.

Strikers
Up top we have Aubameyang who I believe will have a very good season and be a contender for the golden boot as in his first half season in the league he scored 10 in 13. If Aubameyang does keep his scoring form going I'm sure Unai Emery's side will get back to where they feel they belong back in the top 4. Alongside Aubameyang we have the wildcard in the team of Daniel Sturridge. Obviously he was not one of the expensive strikers but I feel this season could be his comeback year as Klopp has publicly shown his belief and support of Sturridge. Personally being a Liverpool fan I have seen him in the pre-season games so far and he has displayed glimpses of the Daniel Sturridge that almost took Liverpool to a league title. The big question is will he be able to remain fit as Klopp said that he would get chances and that he is involved in his plans for this season presumably as a back up to Bobby Firmino. Last but not least we have the player who is possibly too good for his club. Wilfred Zaha was on great form last season and I believe England made a massive mistake letting him play for Ivory Coast. I expect more of the same from Zaha with his mazy runs, blistering pace and goal threat that he carries from the wing.

Subs
The fresh legs available are mostly just fitting to the budget with Matt Ryan, Sam Mcqueen and Conor Coady the cheap options but could offer some cheeky bench points. The big option off the bench is Ruben Neves who is at the heart of the Portuguese revolution at Wolves. He has the potential to be a world class player as he is only 21 and has been linked with moves to top 6 clubs as well as big European clubs. He was their star player in the Championship last year and should look to take that form into this season if Wolves are going to challenge for a top 10 finish. He keeps the side ticking over as well as contributing with goals such as the 6 he got last year. He is definately a player I am looking forward to seeing more of.

Thank you for reading. If you think there's anyone I should've included tweet me @ballersblog1 on Twitter.
